Bjelolasica is great destination for all nature lovers who like to spend their time out in the open, in the fresh air, and it is beautiful to visit at any time of year. Various activities are available like hiking, mountaineering, hunting, cycling, swimming, tour of castles or museums of fairy tales for children, short trips to White and Samarske Rocks, Klek, Lake Sabljaci, top of mountain Bjelolasica Kula, Adriatic coast, and many more.

Bjelolasica is located in the west part of Gorski Kotar and it is its highest mountain – from its Kula peak, the view stretches as far as Istria and Kvarner. It is also very close to Adriatic coast. Its bright and narrow ridge protrudes above the forest, giving the mountain its name (Croatian derivation of Latin name meaning 'white mountain'). The mountain is intertwined with paths and cycling trails, hiking trails and roads so it is easy to reach its beautiful landscapes and enjoy the view of nature beauties. It is a place where everyone can enjoy: families, nature and outdoor activity lovers, cyclists, hunters, hikers, mountaineers and everyone else who likes to spend time in the fresh air and close to adriatic coast.
